In Blau vorne eine goldene Flanke, belegt mit einem blauen Bruchstab, hinten ein natürlicher Storch, links oben begleitet von einem goldenen Anker mit durchschlungenem Tau.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 9, 2007.

The letter H is the initial of the municipality. The stork is a common bird in the region and is taken from an old seal of the village Spaatz. The anchor refers to the (former) importance of sailing and fishing in the area.
