Wappen von Fraham (Taufkirchen)/Arms (crest) of Fraham (Taufkirchen)
Official blazon
German

English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on November 17, 1964

The right part with the 'cloudy' lines is taken from the arms of the Abbey of Au am Inn, to which most of the village historically belonged. The flaming sword is the symbol of St. Michael, patron saint of the Mattsee Convent, which also had several possessions in the area.
