Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on October 26, 1934.
The arms show in the lower part the lion of the Counts of Berg as the village historically belonged to Berg. The upper part is a combination of the seals of the catholic and protestant churches in the village. The Catholic seal showed the two scythes, the protestant seal the rose of the Counts of Möllembiek.
