A silver color metal and enamel device 1 3/16 inches (3.02cm) in height overall consisting of a silver horse rampant on a maroon triangle centered on a silver recessed disc enclosed by a maroon motto scroll overlapping the points of the triangle, the scroll inscribed around the top with the words "LOYALTY AND DEDICATION" in silver letters; below the triangle a silver band connecting with the motto scroll and bearing a maroon cross between two arching maroon arrows.

Origin/meaning

A silver color metal and enamel device 1 3/16 inches (3.02cm) in height overall consisting of a silver horse rampant on a maroon triangle centered on a silver recessed disc enclosed by a maroon motto scroll overlapping the points of the triangle, the scroll inscribed around the top with the words "LOYALTY AND DEDICATION" in silver letters; below the triangle a silver band connecting with the motto scroll and bearing a maroon cross between two arching maroon arrows.

The Distinctive Unit Insignia was approved on 4 November 1981.
