Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on March 18, 1970.
The arms show in the upper half a grape press, as viticulture is a main activity in the village. The base shows a saltire, the symbol for St. Andrew, the local patron saint. The silver and red colour refer to the Diocese of Würzburg, to which the area belonged until 1803.
