Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on October 20, 2007.
The chevrons are taken from the arms of the Clermont-Gallerande family, former lords of the village.
The two Agnus Dei refer to the patron saint St. John Baptist and to the Abbey of Saint-Germain of Auxerre, which owned the local church and parish.
The bunch of grapes refer to the (former) importance of viticulture for the village.
