Département : Seine-Maritime
Official blason
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on March 19, 2021.
The main shield with the crosses and the alerions is the arms of the Counts of Montmorency, to whom the village belonged until the late 18th century. The alerions in the first and fourth quarters are replaced by two small shields. The shield in the first quarter shows the arms of Normandy, the shield in the fourth shows a tree, as the name may have been derived from 'beautiful small forest'.
