Official blazon

A Maltese Cross surmounted by a Crown; in the centre of the cross a wreath of oak, and within the wreath a stag lodged on a blue enamel ground; on the left arm of the cross and across the left branch of the wreath a hlaf-scroll inscribed Sherwood ; on the right arms of the cross and across the right branch of the wreath a half-scroll inscribed Foresters; below the cross a scroll inscribed Notts & Derby. All in silver plate except the title scroll, which is in gilt or gilding metal.
