  • (fr) Coupé émanché: au 1er d'azur à deux roses de jardin d'argent tigées et feuillées du même, celle de dextre posée en barre et celle de senestre posée en bande, au 2e de gueules à trois lions d'or, armés, lampassés et couronnés d'azur.

Origin/meaning

The two roses are a symbol for St. Mary, the local patron saint. The division line forms the letter M, the town's initial and the three lions are taken from the arms of the Dordogne département.
