Escudo de Calldetenes

Official blazon

Escut caironat: d'argent, 3 peres de sinople, posades 2.1. Per timbre una corona mural de poble.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on June 1, 1983.

Canting arms: they show three "peres" (Catalan for "pears"), that refer to the ancient name of the village, Sant Martí de Riudeperes, and at the same time they are the arms of the Riudeperes family, landlords of Calldetenes.
