  • (se) I blått fält en båt på två våglinjer; allt av guld. I masttoppen en röd tretungad flagga.
  • (fi) Sinisessä kentässä vene kahden aaltonauhan yläpuolella; kaikki kultaa paitsi maston huipussa punainen, kolmikielekkeinen lippu.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 27, 1952.

The arms show a small medieval barque, which was typically used to carry household goods and small cargo, which is a long tradition in this island municipality.
