History: Constituted as 626 Military Airlift Support Squadron, and activated, on 27 December 1965. Organized on 8 January 1966. Discontinued, and inactivated, on 8 April 1966. Redesignated as 626 Air Mobility Support Squadron on 26 May 1994. Activated on 1 July 1994. Redesignated as 726 Air Mobility Squadron on 15 March 2001.
