Official blazon
French De sinople au chevron renversé d'argent accompagné en chef d'une volute de rosse d'or; à la champagne ondée d'azur brochante et chargée d'un aulne d'or.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on June 14, 2022.

The inverted chevron forms the letter V, the town's initial. The base is the Launette river, hence the V on the base is canting Ver-sur-Launette (Ver-on-Launette). The crosier in chief refers to Saint Denis, the local patron saint.

The alder tree in base is also a canting element, the French word is aulne, and Launette is derived from aulne. It is also been speculated that also Ver is derived from the Celtic word Verno, also meaning alder. But the tree also refers to the local forests.
