Coupé de gueules au chevron ployé d'argent et à deux clefs d'or passées en sautoir brochant, et d'or à une croix de Lorraine de gueules.

Origin/meaning

The upper half shows the arms of Counts of Petite-Pierre, who owned the village for a long time, combined with the keys of St. Peter, the local patron saint.

The base shows the cross of Lorraine, as Achen was historically part of the Bitche county of Lorraine.
