HOLZGAU

State : Tirol
District : Reutte

Wappen von Holzgau

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 15, 1980.

The arms show a bend in the shape of a branch of a tree. The branch is a canting element (Holz=wood) and are already found on the local chapel of St. Sebastian. The origin of those arms, however, is not known.
