LUOPIOINEN

Region : Pirkanmaa
Former province : 1997-2009 Länsi-Suomi (until 1997 Häme)
Incorporated into : 2007 Pälkäne

Luopioinen Kuntavaakuna / Kommunvapen

Official blazon

Sinisessä kentässä hopeinen, kultaemiöinen lumpeenkukka.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on November 2, 1960.

The arms refer to the Kukkiajärvi lake in the municipality, as the name of the lake can be translated freely as flower-lake. The arms thus show a waterlily flower.

The arms are used after the merger by the new Pälkäne municipality.
