Punaisessa kentässä vastaviistoon kulkeva hopeinen virta, jonka yläkentässä on kultainen kuusi ja alakentässä kultainen hammasratas.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on April 23, 1948.

The name mean white-rapids, which is symbolised by the wavy bend. The pine tree and the cogwheel refer to forestry and industry as important activities in the town.
