Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 22, 1970.

The three crossed fleur-de-lis symbolise the three religous owners of the area for many centuries and which were very important in the development of the region. These were the Benedictan Abbeys in Mehrerau and Weingarten, as well as the local chapter of the Teutonic Order.
