VIEIL-MOUTIER

Département : Pas-de-Calais

Blason de Vieil-Moutier/Arms (crest) of Vieil-Moutier
Official blazon
French blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms are identical to the arms of the villages of Samer and Hesdin-l'Abbé and all three are identical to the arms of the Samer Abbey. The deer symbolises the fact that once a deer and its foal assisted during the local procession. The crosiers symbolise the abbey.
