History: Formed at Rochford in February 1918.

On an ogress a leopards face argent
Motto: Caedimus noctu.
Origin/meaning
The Ogress (black roundel) symbolises Night and the Leopards Face is indicative of fighting. The Whole symbolises the Night Fighter Role. The Motto translates as ”We slay by night”. The Badge was approved in June 1941.
