HERZEBROCK
State : Nordrhein-Westfalen
District (Kreis) : Gütersloh (until 1972 Wiedenbrück)
Amt : Amt Herzebrock
Incorporated into : 1970 Herzebrock-Clarholz
German | blazon wanted |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on November 17, 1936.
The arms are supposedly canting; the name is derived from Herzebroek, or Horse-marsh. The horse thus is a canting symbol, whereas the bar symbolises the marshlands.
