Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on March 2, 1960.
The arms show a fountain, which symbolises the local spa and spring with high mineral content. The spring is already mentioned in 1756 as a special sulphur-spring.
The rose symbolises the many flowers in the area. The colours are those of the Counts of Tübingen, who ruled the area in the 13th century.
Literature: Hess and Gönner, 1960.
