Selected collector's items from Germany:

REUNDORF

State : Bayern
District (Kreis) : Bamberg
Incorporated into : 1978 Frensdorf

Wappen von Reundorf/Arms (crest) of Reundorf

Origin/meaning

The arms show two angel wings, a cross-staff and a crosier. These items all refer to the former Benedictan Abbey of Michelsberg in the village. The wings refer to the Archangel St. Michael, the other items to the monastery itself. The colours are taken from the arms of the State of Würzburg, to which the area belonged until 1621.
