State : Bayern
District (Kreis) : Main-Spessart (until 1972 Gemünden am Main)

Wappen von Burgsinn/Arms (crest) of Burgsinn
Official blazon
German

In Gold ein rotes Widderhorn.

English No blazon/translation known. Please click here to send your (heraldic !) blazon or translation

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on December 10, 1845.

The seals of the 17th and 18th century all showed a horn, most likely derived from the arms of the Counts of Rieneck, to which the town belonged in the 15th century.
