German	Origin/meaning The arms show the castle of the Counts of Schauenburg who lived until 1223 at the local castle. In the 14^th century the castle was rebuilt and this building still exist.The green colour and the flower represent the nature in the municipality. The five leaves represent the five former municipalities.
