The arms were officially granted on ?

The three linden trees refer to the three former municipalities. They are of equal size to symbolise that no village is more important as the other. Linden trees are an ancient symbol for rural villages.

The wavy bends symbolise the Zwönitz and Wilisch rivers in the municipality.
