Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on ??-??-1958.
The arms show in the upper half the cross of the State of Köln, and in the base a grill, the symbol of St. Lawrence, patron saint of the village of Lessenich.
The arms are presently used by the Hardtberg district of Bonn, to which a large part of the former amt belongs.
