Origin/meaningThe arms were officially granted on January 22, 1967. The upper left part of the arms shows a deer antler, symbol for the many deer in the forest in the municipality as well as for the former hunting lodge near the village. The upper right half shows a glass blower's pipe, symbol for the glass industry in the village.
