ELLMAU
State : Tirol
District : Kufstein
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on April 11, 1972.
The arms are based on the arms of the medieval Hampesdorf family, which held several farms and properties in Ellmau. The shape also refers to the sharp mountains of the Kaisergebirge in the municipality.
