Official blazon

In Rot ein offener silberner Flug.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on June 27, 1929.

The arms are derived from the arms of the medieval Lords of Gomaringen. The oldest seal of the village dates from 1684 and shows a plough iron, three roses and the deer antler of Württemberg. This combination remained on the seals until 1929. The above arms were proposed by the State Archives as more representative for the municipality.
