Escudo de negro, com livro aberto de prata, pintado de vermelho e, brocante, báculo de ouro, com sudário de prata, tendo a crossa contornada; nos cantões do chefe, dois ferros de enxó de prata; em campanha, dois ramos de oliveira de ouro, frutados do mesmo, com os pés passados em aspa. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: “ SANTO AMARO – SOUSEL “.

The arms were officially granted on February 20, 2003.
