VEZINS (MAINE-ET-LOIRE)

Département : Maine-et-Loire

Blason de Vezins (Maine-et-Loire)
Official blazon
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on July 5, 1991.

The green color represents the rural environment; the heart is the symbol of the Vendée region and refers to the Vendée wars. The ermine crescent is taken from the arms of the De La Porte family, lords of Vezins.

The three wavy bars refer to the three rivers in the municipality and the tree refers to the forest.
