On a gold oval with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) green border, 3 inches (7.62 cm) in height and 2 5/8 inches (6.67 cm) in width overall, within the inscription “ALLEGHANY” at top and “TROJANS” at bottom in green letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height, a green oval bearing a gold knight’s helmet.
