Arms of Kraśnik (city)

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted (again) in 2013, but are much older.

The arms show three spears, taken from the arms of the Zamoyski family. In 1604 hetman Jan Zamoyski bought the town and the family ruled the town until 1866.
