Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on December 10, 1996.
Grigiskes town was established in 1923 together with the paper factory, but paper production is traditional for that area between Vilnius and Trakai. Therefore the local watermark used in 1496 symbolizes both traditional and modern paper industry.
