German Neunmal geteilt von Rot und Gold; belegt mit einem silbernen Andreaskreuz, dem zwei gekreuzte rote Glaspfeifen aufgelegt sind..
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on January 24, 1977.

The bars are taken from the arms of the Counts of Rieneck, who ruled the village until 1559, when it became part of the State of Mainz. The silver saltire is the symbol for St. Andrew, the local patron saint of the local chapel, dating from the 15th century. The silver and red are also the colours of the State of Mainz.

The blowpipes refer to the glassworks in the village until the late 18th cnetury.
