In Silber ein grüner Beutel mit goldener Schnur; daraus wachsend grüne Pflanzen mit fünf blauen Blüten und sechs grünen Schoten.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on November 9, 1999.
The area is famous for the cultivation if lentils and the villagers had a nickname 'Linsenbittel' meaning a bag of lentils. The arms thus show a bag of lentil plants.
