Escudo de prata, sabugueiro arrancado de verde, frutado de ouro, em orla, cordão de São Francisco, de azul. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro “ SABUGUEIRO - ARRAIOLOS “.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on December 2, 1997.
Thea rms show a canting elderberry tree (Sabugueiro=elderberry) and a rope as a symbol for Saint Clara, the local patron saint.
