Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. Description: On a white disc 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border the white profile bust of an Indian warrior issuant from base outlined and detailed in blue within the inscription “SOUTHWESTERN PULASKI COUNTY” in orange letters arcing above.

Shoulder Loop Insignia. Description: A gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of an orange vertical rectangle edged with a gold border of silhouette trees to the sides and city skyline at top, supporting a blue dome, overall a gold torch enflamed red surmounted in base by the end view of a bisected tractor and barn beside a gold silo, all above two blue horizontal wavy lines. Attached below a gold scroll inscribed “INTEGRITY AND BRAVERY.”

Origin/meaning

Shoulder Sleeve Insignia: Blue and orange are the school colors. The Native American warrior is the school mascot.

Shoulder Loop insignia: Blue and orange are the school colors. The city scape and agribusiness symbols reflect the school population and county economy. The torch of knowledge between them suggests the cadets as future leaders in the community. The wavy lines symbolize Lake Cumberland, a prominent landmark in the area.

The Shoulder Sleeve Insignia and the Shoulder Loop Insignia was both approved on 28 June 1996.
