State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Rastatt
Incorporated into: 1972 Forbach
German | In Blau eine silberne Axt ohne Stiel. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms show an axe-blade as a symbol for the importance of forestry for the municipality. The blade first appears in a seal from 1770, and all later seals and arms have shown the same. The colours were officially determined in 1900.
