SASCHIZ
District/county (județ) : Mureș
Official blazon
Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite. Șeful crenelat, în câmp de azur, este încărcat cu două flori de hamei de aur. În partea inferioară, în câmp auriu, se află un șoim în zbor, cu cioc și gheare roșii. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on October 29, 2014.
The chief represent the rich archeological site, the fortresses, the monuments and the traditional fairs of the commune, from different historical periods.
The hop flowers symbolize the first hop culture in the country and reproduce motifs of the famous Saschiz pottery.
The hawk "prince of birds" represents the hunting wealth and the agrotourism attraction of the area.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
