Origin/meaning
The Red Field symbolises the Generosity by which the Unit operates. The Lion symbolises Military Strength. The Castle symbolises the now disappeared Fortress of San Cristóbal and the present Barracks. The location near the Sea is symbolised by the Waves. The Coat of Arms was approved on 28 February 2012.
