502ND SECURITY FORCES SQUADRON, US AIR FORCE

History: Designated as 3800 Air Police Squadron, and organized on 1 October 1965. Redesignated as: 3800 Security Police Squadron on 1 March 1967; 502 Security Police Squadron on 1 October 1992. Inactivated on 1 October 1994. Redesignated as 502 Security Forces Squadron on 28 July 2009. Activated on 30 April 2010.
