436TH FORCE SUPPORT SQUADRON, US AIR FORCE

History: Constituted as 436 Food Service Squadron on 8 September 1950. Activated in the Reserve on 16 October 1950. Ordered to Active Service on 1 April 1951. Inactivated on 16 April 1951. Activated in the Reserve on 18 May 1955. Inactivated on 15 May 1958. Consolidated (10 October 1984) with the 436 Services Squadron, which was constituted, and activated, on 27 December 1965. Organized on 8 January 1966. Inactivated on 1 July 1971. Activated on 1 June 1985. Redesignated: 436 Morale, Welfare, Recreation and Services Squadron on 1 July 1992; 436 Services Squadron on 1 January 1994. Redesignated 436 Force Support Squadron on 6 February 2009.
