423RD COMMUNICATIONS SQUADRON, US AIR FORCE

History: Designated as 2143 Communications Squadron, and activated, on 1 December 1969. Redesignated as: 2143 Information Systems Squadron on 1 October 1984; 2143 Communications Squadron on 1 November 1986. Inactivated on 1 July 1991. Redesignated as 423 Communications Squadron on 16 December 2010. Activated on 15 January 2011.
