RAF STATION VALLEY, ROYAL AIR FORCE
History: Formed February 1, 1941 as Rhosneigr but renamed on April 4, 1941.
Official blazon
A dragon rampant holding a portcullis.
Motto: In adversis perfugium = refuge in adversity.
Origin/meaning
The Dragon is a symbol of the location in Wales. The Portcullis is a symbol of the Station as an 24/7 open Master Diversion Airfield.
