THE PRINCE OF WALES'S LEINSTER REGIMENT (ROYAL CANADIANS), BRITISH ARMY
History: Formed in 1881 by amalgamation by the 100th (Prince of Wales Royal Canandian) Regiment of Foot (raised 1858) and the 109th Regiment of Foot (Bombay Infantry) (raised in 1853). Disbanded in 1922, following creation of the Irish Free State.
Regimental Headquarters: Crinhill Barracks, Birr.
