Canton : Graubünden

Wappen von Oberengading (district)/Arms (crest) of Oberengading (district)

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms show St. Lucius, the patron saint of the church in Zuoz, one of the oldest in Graubünden. The saint already appears on the old seals of the district. The blue colour of the shield is taken from the arms of the Lords of Gamertingen, the oldest rulers in the area.

Seal of Oberengading (district)
