Official blazon
French D'azur à la mitre d'or chargée d'une flamme de gueules; mantelé renversé d'or, chargé d'une aigle à dextre et d'une coquille à senestre, les deux de sable, accompagnées en pointe d'une trangle ondée d'azur.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted February 14, 2023.

The eagle symbolises the eagle-shaped fibula discovered with the Merovingian burials explored at Arnaucourt, a hamlet in the municipality.

The shell istaken from the arms of the medieval lords of the village. The mitre is that of Saint Rémy to whom the church is dedicated and who would have extinguished with a wave of the hand a fire which threatened the city of Reims.

The mill wheel and the wavy bar symbolize the energy of the water of the Cousances which formerly activated a mill, a sawmill and a sickle cutting machine.
