The right half is taken from the arms of the Counts of Preysing 1644a.wsa.jpg, who resided in the village in the 12th century. The other half shows 6 fleur-de-lys taken from the arms of the Obermünster Abbey in Regensburg (which showed 9 fleur-de-lys), to which the local church belonged since the 10th century until 1803.
